back to blogging // what am I doing with my life?

After a long couple of weeks filled with copious amounts of coffee and written papers, I have decided to start up this body boy once again.  There are a few reasons why I’ve made this decision.  First, it’s just something to do.  I understand this makes it seem like I don’t have much going on in my life but dear god it is quite the opposite (e.g. I literally wrote this a month ago but haven’t had time to post).  Right now I’m currently:

  • Taking 15 credits in my second to last semester of undergrad.  Nine of these credits are online, and let me tell you I never thought online classes would be so much work.  To answer your question, yes, I want to die every day.
  • Applying to law schools; by this time next year, I’ll be finishing up my first semester of law school (god help me).  I’m currently studying for the LSAT that I’ll be taking in February.
  • Working part-time; I’ve had my job for a little over a year now (minus the time during the previous two semesters when I lived at school) and I truly love it.  I’m aware this is a super rare deal and I’m super thankful for it, which is why I decided to live at home my last year of undergrad so I can work a few days per week as well.

So yea, when I say I have plenty of things to keep me busy, I’m not kidding.  Yet, something is still telling me to start writing for this blog again, and so I will.

The content I post will somewhat differ from what I used to post.  For instance, I originally started this blog to post about makeup.  Nowadays, almost two years later, I still love makeup, but it’s not what I’d consider to be a hobby as much as it used to be.  I haven’t done someone else’s makeup in a really long time and while I miss it, I have too many other obligations to focus on.

Not only will the content be different, but the frequency of posts will be less than it was back in 2016, at least for the time being.  I’d obviously rather write for this blog, but for now I must dedicate the majority of my time to other things like Medial Anthropology.

I’m excited to restart this journey again & I’m excited to meet more cool people through this like I did last time. I encourage you (!!!) to follow me on my social media accounts to stay in the loop, or to “keep up”.

If you’re just dying to see something specific, I’m always open to post suggestions, so let me know below,  or you can email

Until next time…

Nicole xx
